This event was organized as part of Asian Heritage Month for Bombardier staff to gather, learn about the National Coalition of Canadians Against Anti-Asian Racism (NCCAAR), and hear professional insights from the esteemed Dr. Phil De Luna. The event, featuring NCCAAR directors Christine Nakamura and A.W. Lee, aimed to spark a conversation about Anti-Asian racism in professional life and how we all can work together to combat discrimination in all its forms.

Dr. De Luna is a renowned expert on cleantech innovation and sustainability and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Award, and is recognized by Forbes as a Top 30 Under 30. He spoke about his professional journey through academia, government, and industry, and how achievements are possible even against the headwinds of Anti-Asian racism.
